01 / WHY

Why I made it

Bug reports often lose the browser context that explains what actually happened. StackContext brings the user journey, page errors, and safe network signals together so a developer or coding agent has a more useful starting point.

I’ll add your personal story here: what you saw, who had the problem, and what made you decide to build this.

02 / HOW

How I made it

The project is delivered as Chrome and Firefox extensions. It can capture a user journey, collect relevant page and request metadata, and prepare a report for an AI provider or local coding agent. Sensitive values such as typed inputs, passwords, cookies, and request bodies are excluded.

  • Browser extensions capture the selected workflow.
  • A local companion connects the browser to tools such as Codex CLI and Claude Code.
  • Provider options include local models and API based services.
I’ll fill in your exact role, stack, design choices, difficult parts, and what you learned.
